Asos spring trench coat Mother Denim IRO booties
I had been searching for a cute, classic trench coat for a while, as I'm pretty specific in what I want for form, function, and fit. There are tons of options out there at all different price points, and I decided that I didn't want to spend too much money, as I knew I would wear the trench during rainy days, and didn't want to feel anguish if it got ruined or dirty. I also wanted a mid-length coat - not too short and not too long, which is sometimes difficult as a vertically-challenged person. And the color had to be a classic camel shade, which defies the cyclical fashion seasons. I perused my favorite retailers online and finally settled on this one from Asos. At first I ordered a size 2, but it was way too big and oversized. So I reordered it in a 0 and I absolutely love it! There is also a petite version, but I liked the length of the regular sized fit. I kept things neutral with this outfit, pairing it with a simple white tee, faded gray jeans, and black booties.

  1. In love!! ABsolutely love this coat!! I am looking online right now to get one myself >_< you wrote a good one here Belinda..

So this coat runs large, right? You had to go from size 2 to 0? I wonder if I should go down to size 2 then I am normally between 4 and 6..

And can I just say your nano Chanel is TO DIE FOR? I think that has to be my next Chanel. Just don't know why... lol

    1. Hi Jessica! Hope you're doing well! I think the coat does run large, and it depends on how oversized you want it to fit. If in doubt, you could order both sizes and return the other. Asos is tricky because I feel like their brand is so inconsistent. I should've just ordered both sizes originally instead of wasting all that shipping time, but oh well. Hope you find a good one!! :))
