It's back to the daily grind after a nice, long holiday weekend. I work in a relatively casual office where I can treat jeans as a rotating staple. But sometimes I like to step it up a notch and go a little more sophisticated, even if I don't have any client meetings. I love these Zara high-waisted culotte trousers that I purchased several months ago. I think they're supposed to be cropped, but on me they fall to my ankles! I paired it with a nude tank that I have had in my closet for many years, affirming the fact that if you invest well in high-quality fabrics and a little bit of tailoring, a simple silk tank will become a closet staple for years and years. I finished the look with a complimentary tone of nude wide band sandals that is from last summer season. Even though the pieces from this outfit have had homes in my closet for a long time, they come together for a classic look that's easy to replicate and always in style. Shop my picks below!
