here with these high-waisted Rag & Bone jeans that are super soft and not very "jean-like", more like leggings. Overall I kept things grounded in my comfort zone of black and white, but added a red Botkier cross-body bag for that pop of color. I wore this last weekend to Photoville at the Brooklyn Bridge Park, which turned a gajillion shipping containers into photo exhibits. My favorite exhibit was definitely the one that paid homage to Bill Cunningham, which even had his iconic blue jacket hanging on the door. It was amazing to see so many of his On the Street features in one place, and a testament to his keen eye for telling compelling visual stories featuring trends and fashion movements that come full cycle every few years or so. In my five years living in the city so far, two of my most exciting memories are spotting Bill Cunningham during Summer Streets, and during NYFW itself last year, which definitely won't be the same without that recognizable presence and iconic jacket. Anyhoo, check out my picks below to replicate this casual, fall-ready look.
