Spring is technically a week away, yet we're in the odd limbo between 60-degree sunshine one day and then blasted with snow and sleet the next day. (Were you in total hibernation like I was during Winter Storm Stella??) It's that gray area where you're basking in the freedom of no heavy coat or itchy sweater, and then you find yourself back in your layers and begrudgingly pulling on the boots. It makes picking out the daily look all that more challenging, as I'm looking forward to giving some wear to silky blouses and mule slides that I haven't worn in months. So until then, I'm doing my best to be satisfied with what I already have, and reworking existing items to keep the inspiration going despite the bitter cold. With this outfit, I decided to balance out a gray monochromatic tone with a black military-inspired coat, topped with a cool, gray-toned fedora. These are all pieces I've had for a while, but all easily replicated with my picks below.
