Have you ever seen something and fell in love with it at first sight, but the price point was just a bit too high to make the leap? And then did you wait patiently for at least two months for any kind of sale, any kind of sign that if it was meant to be, it will happen? Well, this is that unicorn shirt. I first saw it perusing Intermix way back in January (feels like eons ago), and tried it on in store. First of all, the gingham print. So cute and appropriate for spring. Secondly, the exaggerated bell sleeves are totally on trend. And finally, the fact that it is an off-the-shoulder, button-down blouse sealed the deal for me, and I knew I had to have it in my life. I looove off-the-shoulder blouses, because it is an ultra feminine and sophisticated take on the shoulder-baring trend that shows no sign of stopping. I was pretty much checking on this shirt every day for the last few months, and when it FINALLY went on sale, I bought it immediately. Zero regrets. Seriously, get it now while it's on sale. I paired it here with distressed white denim and red suede block heel sandals (which are on sale!). It is also going to look amazing tucked into high-waisted denim and nude wedges for another spring-ready look, and I also can't wait to wear it with black leather pants for an evening vibe.
